SIMULATION TRIO
I don't know why I keep finding myself in these jungles when I meant to make something simple. Well, I created my own skin-care brand.
1. POP
I'd highlight two things: Velocity and Collision Detect. These animations have to look good on camera, not to be 100% accurate. So, manipulating the velocity when particles enter or hit an area is really helpful to art-direct the final look.
2. Vellum
As always, transferring attributes is the most important thing to control these simulations. (For me at least). And MOPs is always handy.
3. Flip
I thought this one would be the most difficult, but in the end, it was only micro-adjusting and re-simulating. Remembering all the attributes that play together is the tougher aspect, at least as a learner. This simulation was so fragile; changing some timing or value can break what I got, so keeping versions is key.
Thanks to my friend @H1 Sound for making those amazing sounds fx available.
