SIMULATION TRIO
I don't know why I keep finding myself in these jungles when I meant to make something simple.
Well, I created my own skin-care brand.
1. POP
I'd highlight two things here: Velocity and Collision Detect. These animations have to look good on camera, not to be 100% accurate. So, manipulating the velocity when particles enter or hit an area is really helpful to art direct the final look.
2. Vellum
As always, transferring attributes is the most important thing to control these simulations. (For me at least). And MOPs is always handy.
3. Flip
I thought this one would be the more difficult, but in the end, it was only micro-adjusting and re-simulating. Remembering all the attributes that play together is the tougher aspect -at least as a learner. This simulation was so fragile; changing some timing or value can break what I was gotten, so keeping versions is key.
Thanks to my friend @H1 Sound for making those amazing sounds fx available.
